OUR STORY
MEET MICHELLE, THE FACE BEHIND OUTBACK SUN
Outback Sun started with a simple problem, I was sick of bulky towels taking up precious space when we travelled, never drying properly and eventually coming home in a garbage bag full of soggy, smelly towels!
As a keen bush camper, fossicker and lover of the Australian outdoors, I wanted a towel that was lightweight, compact, quick-drying and actually made for adventure.
So I decided to create my own.
What I didn't realise was just how big a leap it would be. Towels have to be ordered in bulk, meaning I had to commit to hundreds before I even knew if people would love them!
Thankfully, I took the chance.
Today, Outback Sun towels feature photographs from the places we’ve travelled, from Far North Queensland to the Kimberley and the Gibb River Road. Every design has a story, a memory and a little piece of our adventure behind it.
